Source standards
We prioritise regulator registers, broker legal documents, official fee schedules, platform documentation and recognised public institutions. We do not treat an advertisement, social post or affiliate claim as sufficient proof of regulation or account protection.
How we write
Every article begins with the practical answer, then explains the evidence, limitations and next checks. We use plain English, examples relevant to South African readers and natural internal links that support the reader’s next question.
Updates
Pages display a fact-check date. We update a page when a legal entity, licence, account, fee, platform or other material detail changes. We do not change dates merely to make old content look fresh.
Corrections
When a material error is confirmed, we correct it promptly and document significant corrections under our corrections policy. Readers can report an issue through the contact page.
